Unfortunately due to injuries and player unavailability seconds only had 14 players for this game. Our thanks to First grade players Todd Carter, JD and Destroy for making themselves available allowing us to play with 15. Our preparation for this game was ordinary and with constant changes to the team we were hard pressed to remain competitive. Wests gradually wore our resistance down and scored many tries and a demoralizing defeat.

We scored a good try from pressure applied and then moved the ball wide with Gil supplying the last draw and pass for Junior to score in the corner.

We welcomed Theo to the team for his first game of year following completion of the season with Oakhill. Our thanks to the guys who played out of their normal position to help the team, you kept trying and never gave up.

We cannot praise Joe Bailey enough, his tackling was above and beyond the norm and we are grateful for Joe being so relentless.

We will have a few players returning for our last game against Eastwood to end a very long and arduous season. Despite all the defeats we have endured I believe these guys have learnt an enormous amount and will return better and stronger players next season.

We would also like to thank the players who then backed up to play for Firsts when they lost players to injury in the first half. That was a big effort.
