It was pleasing to see so many players make themselves available for the last game, although we would have liked to have seen you the week before at the Wests game. Anyway, enough of that.

We again started slowly and showed great courage in defence for the first 10 minutes when Eastwood had us trapped on our tryline. Unfortunately we could not sustain the effort and they finally got a couple tries plus a few more. After some well chosen words at half-time we gave Eastwood a real fight in the second half and kept the score respectable for the remainder of the game.

Mark and I would like to thank all the players who contributed to the efforts of Second grade this season and we wish you well for the next season.

We would also like to say thanks to the guys who stood-by for Firsts week in week out. We hope you enjoyed the season and the bus trips.
